How To Use Self-Renewal As Your Recipe For Persevere

Mind, Body and Spirit: The three ingredients that fire up an entrepreneur’s journey cannot be taken for granted. Our desire, balance, and energy to persevere depend hugely on the three dimensions. Ignore them at your peril.

The mind is the engine

From mind power to meditation, a lot is said about the need to have authority over your thoughts. In your business, every piece of the jigsaw from products, sales, customers and staff can only move if the mind is biased towards positive thought.

Exercise it by reading, reflecting, taking a mind-break in a short walk or escaping for a day. Take a hobby that is a diversion, it helps you visualise and symbolise the dreams you fulfil through your business.

The body houses the action

Even if you don’t take up gym and you choose to exercise at home, adopt any light regime of untangling those muscle knots.

The strain that comes with building your dream business can tense up the body and  affect the creative power of the mind.

The spirit powers everything

The mind and body alone cannot overcome adversity. When sales targets are not met or customers slam the door in your face, strength must come from the deepest part of your being.

Passion for what you do, self-belief and positive attitude keep you focused through good or bad times.

Take stock of where you are; sense which of the three ingredients for self-renewal are suffering and take action.
