Who should have access to my business bank account?

My bookkeeper has requested access to my business bank account. Is this standard procedure or should I be concerned?

This is a very personal question.  I would always proceed with caution when deciding on who can access your bank account. Does your accountant need access to your bank account?

We build caution into software packages like My Business Online, which has an accountant’s zone that allows you to provide levels of access, depending on your comfort zone.

You should always be able to set parameters, such as allowing your accountant to see your bank account but not make transactions on it.
