Should I focus on my one biggest source of income or should I have a range of different products at different price levels?

Focus is always best, it costs more to have more products in terms of more administration, marketing, accounting, staff etc. People often say to me that they have many products – that’s ok if you have staff who can help you, otherwise you have to focus on one thing.

That does not mean one pen if you are selling pens. It does mean you should stick to pens rather than all types of stationery. It also depends on what your product or service is. Once you are making money and have a good business, then you can add more related products or services.
