When you meet with a financial planner, there are several steps that he or she should go through. It’s important that the financial planner explain upfront how payment will be incurred so that you know what to expect – and budget for.

Remember to go prepared with all of the documentation pertaining to your financial status, such as IRP5, retirement annuities, even a bank statement might prove useful.
