Nedbank and Franchising Plus Join Hands Once Again to Provide Free Franchising Seminars

Nedbank is once again partnering with Franchising Plus to offer free Franchising Networking Seminars nationwide, with Pretoria scheduled for 16 September featuring franchising guru, Anita Du Toit from Franchising Plus who will empower entrepreneurs with unique business insights enabling them to take their businesses to the next level.

Anita comes with a wealth of experience in franchising since 1998 servicing clients in various industries such as telecommunications, automotive and retail in the South African franchise sector.

Pretoria comes hot off the heels of the Durban seminar held on 10 September where Annie Baptiste also from Franchising Plus, provided great insights on how franchisees can grow their franchises into the future.

‘As a bank for small, medium and large enterprises, we believe franchising plays a crucial role in the development of SMEs. Therefore, it is essential that we continue to empower franchisees and franchisors through training and development that is not only practical but also meaningful,’ says Mark Rose: Head of New Business Development at Nedbank.

Speaking on behalf of Franchising Plus, Du Toit notes that their involvement in these seminars is in line with Franchising Plus’ commitment to guide delegates through the entire franchising process from the first idea to implementation.

Nedbank continues to support the SME sector through various interventions such as the SimplyBiz Seminars, a flagship offering which spans over ten (10) years, Small Business Friday™, which seeks to galvanise the South African population to think of a small business when making a purchase – while the Nedbank Small Business Index™ (NSBI) provides a measurable assessment of the state of the SME sector.

In addition, the bank supports the Shift Questions workshops in association with Raizcorp, which were developed to equip entrepreneurs to think differently about their businesses in order to unlock new opportunities and accelerate their success.
